cowens02
Hi everyone!I am new here and I need some help. Does any one have any suggestions on bidding for a hotel 4/4-4/8 in Savannah GA? I want something that is at least 3.5* and hopefully below or $125. I definitely DON'T want to start anywhere near that, and am ideally looking for something less than $100 a night. I know this is wishful thinking, but I am travelling alone & have no one to share the cost with. :( Any suggestions or guidance is greatly appreciated!!!:)C. Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Which zone/s would be acceptable? I'm not sure if something is going on in the core areas of Savannah for these date/s, but rates do appear on the high side. I do think you could get a 3*, but I think 3.5* definitely may require higher than your desired $125 max. There is a 3* with breakfast in the historic district zone for these date/s on HOTWIRE (the price you see may vary slightly.)Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. cowens02
Thanks for the reply! I think I would like to stay in the Historic District or midtown. But, the more I read I think I would be acceptable to stay in Tybee Island since it is a short drive away & near the beach. Link to comment
thereuare
If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages.Currently the highest star rating offered in Tybee Island is 2.5*, so you'll need to first decide if you want to bid this zone at the 2.5* level OR stick with your 3.5* minimum star rating for the Historic and Midtown zones.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we will take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. cowens02
I actually ended up renting an apartment for the first three nights at $99 & then did a 4* Hotwire for $86 a night. I ended up getting the Omni HIlton Head Resort which looks really nice albeit a little dated. I am very exicted! Thank you everyone for the suggestions! Link to comment
