So I did and got the Marriott for $79. Had been trying for 4 1/2 star to $140 and kept getting rejected, so happy to save money for a very quick wknd trip to watch Superbowl. Yes, I am leaving NJ on Superbowl weekend to go to New Orleans! Link to comment

nstoulig Posted January 29, 2014 Report Share Posted January 29, 2014 Whenever you get a rebid increase screen and you have rebid availability. You should never go with the amount they give you. I always go up by $1 per bid and usually get it by the time I reach half of the difference. Save a little more which could go a long way in NOLA for a few drinks!! Link to comment
