We wanted to stay one more night in Burlington. Started bidding lower this time, at 36 and 38 without luck. Got the same hotel at $40 like our original priceline bid for Sat night. Free breakfast is a plus. As always, used the PRICELINE link. Thanks!

Glad to see you received the same hotel so that you won't need to change properties during this trip. When you check-in for the first reservation let them know that you have an additional separate, but continuous, reservation and ask them to block the room for you for the second nite. You may still need to 'officially' check-out/check-in, but this should avoid you needing to change rooms.

Thank you for the advice to tell them up front at check-in. We told the registration at check-in that we had 2 separate reservations and were told that they would block it for two days. The next morning, we checked at the registration office again to make sure we did not have to check out and the woman said she thought we were checking out, the change was not done in their database. At that time, the lady actually fixed it correctly, blocked the room for the second night and re-activated our key cards for the rest of our stays. Good thing we double-checked!
