Turned out to be the Riviera... was hoping for the Quad or Bally's simply for location purposes (friend's @ the Quad).

Anyone stayed there recently? Just curious how the rooms fare... Might give the ol' $20 trick a try (although not sure if an upgrade there is worth it).

This deal wasn't very exciting, but did get a better deal on Priceline (will post there).

Congrats on your success. :)

Sorry to hear that the result wasn't what you'd hoped, but not a bad deal for this property.

I think there may have been more amenities associated with this listing than noted above. If you look under the trip information in your HOTWIRE account, do you see any additional amenities? If so, please provide the full list.

Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.

Enjoy your stay.

I stayed at the Riviera a few weeks ago, I received an offer in the mail, my room was on the second floor overlooking a parking lot and the Peppermill. I forget which building, but there are 5 hotel "towers" and the best one is the Monte Carlo, so ask for this one. A colleague was staying in this tower and his room was nicer than mine. It was my second stay here, the property is older, but my room was fine, it didn't seem like a 3*. If you get a players card and run a few $$ through the slots, you will get offers for reduced rates in the future. The lobby bar has cheap drink prices 24/7 and the casino has $1 blackjack. There is a McDonalds across the street for an inexpensive breakfast, and Circus Circus is across the street as well. The CC steakhouse is actually very good and a great value. There is a $2 taco place called Tacos El Gordo a block away, the beef shoulder was very good, better than the pork, IMO. You can catch the Deuce bus in front to go north or south on the strip or the 108 bus to the airport near the rear entrance on Paradise.

Your stay is over a weekend and considering your rate, I think you got a pretty good deal.
