Hello I'm planning on traveling from Miami to Lima, Peru. My dates are December 18,2013 till January 6, 2014. The prices are above $900 now. I would like to know how does the name your price work? How many layovers can there be and the maximum time? I don't mind doing one layover and waiting 3 hours but I don't want to do a 6 or 8 hour layover.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

When you bid you have to agree to at least one layover/connection, but you won't receive more than this unless you agree to it when bidding (there is an option to select a greater number of connections/layovers).

PRICELINE has not updated this chart in quite some time, but you can see the average and maximum connection times here: Priceline Maximum Layover Times

If you'd like to move forward with bidding for this plane ticket, how much of a discount would you need from the $900 retail price to make the 'unknown' of an opaque booking worthwhile?
