Hotwire Hotel: 2.5* Detroit (Utica) La Quinta Inn

Did a search using BetterBidding link to HOTWIRE for November 15-16. Found a 2.5 star 95% recommended with the following amenities free park; indoor pool; internet(free) free breakfast; business centre; pet friendly; and self service laundry. Hoping for Laquita...but the laundry puzzles me. Can anyone suggest what hotel this might be. I am attending a concert at Macoomb Center for Performing Arts. I really want to avoid the Best Western in Sterling Heights but I don't think that it would be that hotel.

Please provide a follow-up for your prior Detroit Priceline thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the above listing.)

For the above listing, are you also seeing pool/internet in addition to indoor pool/free internet?

Yes, there was also pool/internet in the listing.

We are trying to decide whether to stay overnight after concert... and if we can find a close hotel at a good price it will definitely sway us in favor of the overnight! :)

I'm not currently seeing this property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

Yes still seeing it... used Betterbidding "Hotwire Quick Quote" typing in Utica Michigan November 15-16 for 1 room 2 adults no children. It is still there, the second on the list. "Utica Area Hotel" 2.5 star 95% recommended.

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool, and then click the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? This is what i'm seeing for the 2.5* hotel in this zone:

Indoor Pool

Business

Hi-Speed Internet

Bathroom Accessible

Handicapped Parking

... if this is what you're seeing, my best guess for this one would be the La Quinta Inn and Suites Utica.

Interesting....going in that way, I do see the additional amenities. We are ordering tickets for the concert and will make decision in regards to hotel shortly. Will report back what we decide. I feel much better about the choice of the hotel. Thanks!

A few days later ... checked and there is still the 2.5 star for November 15thto November 16th however the amenities only show parking, pet friendly free breakfast internet and free internet no matter where I look. Also the price increased :( to $67.00. (I will pay for my hesitation in booking...it is still the best deal I can find.)
