I was just looking for an economical stay for the night as I will be in town for the Lions Monday night football game. I have stayed here several times in the past, and despite the somewhat dinginess of the hotel, it will meet my needs. You can't pass up the free parking and complimentary shuttle service (as of my last stay, anyway). The location is nice as well, at least during the warmer months. Offered amenities include: Free parking, fitness center, business center, golf nearby, boutique hotel, restaurant(s), high-speed internet access, and tennis nearby. Total including taxes and fees came to $82.05. I used the HOTWIRE link on BB. As a side note, Hotwire stated that the property is rated 3.5 stars on Trip Advisor. However, after searching, I found that it is only a 3 star rated hotel. The most recent review was 30 days ago. Should I consider bringing this matter to Hotwire's attention? Link to comment
thereuare Posted October 1, 2013 Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 Congratulations on your success... glad to see you found something that works for your needs and budget.The TA ratings shown by HOTWIRE are not updated in real time (only about once every 2-4 weeks) so there occasionally is a discrepancy between the two.I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post, which would not have been seen unless you clicked the 'See all' link during the check-out process.
