My week-long bidding spree has ended tonight. With taxes and fees, I got the Adams Mark 2 nights for $252.32.

Priceline had the hotel for $163 per night on the list view and a 3*/2* express deal for $114/$103. Hotwire's 3* was for $133.

Seems that weekend rates this time of the year are about double the weekday rate. Here's a copy and paste of my bidding strategy and history:

Fri-Sun Aug 16-18

3.5* zones 1,4 for 16-18: $42-57; 59-73; 74-82; 84-110 - (All Failed bids)

3* zone 2,3,4,1 for 16-18: $35-48; 51-63; 65-77; 85-105 - won at $105

2.5* zone 9,8,4,3,2,1: $35-48; 50-66; - (All Failed bids from the previous days)

2* zone 9,8,4,3,2,1: $30-40; 42-60; - (All Failed bids from the previous days)
