paga Posted March 7, 2013 Report Share Posted March 7, 2013 Will be bidding on a Full at SYR for 9 days needed in 3 weeks targeting 22 / day, HOTWIRE has been in that range recently for last minute (3 days out)bookings, but much higher for 3 weeks out. Am I wasting my time beginning bidding now thru PRICELINE at 22? Do repeated daily bids at 22 get noticed and ignored? Link to comment

thereuare Posted March 7, 2013 Report Share Posted March 7, 2013 I'm not seeing near term prices any cheaper then rates for your rental 3 weeks out.I would book a back-up reservation to protect yourself from rates from moving even higher from here (use our Car Rental Checker under the TOOLS menu at the top of the board... then try bidding the $22 you're considering as i think that would be a pretty good deal at this point in time.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
