sfmichaela
Bid on a resort on kaanapali lahaina. The bid is for two rooms. First bid was for $171. Rebid adding kahuli upped bid to $176.Going to try again today. May have to try separating the rooms to two separate bids Link to comment
AaronJB
I would not recommend separating the rooms into two different transactions, as you run the risk of winding up at two different hotels.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. sfmichaela
I am bidding on the resort class Link to comment
chrispee
Why not add the 4* for Kaanapali and roll the dice on the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Villas? This appears to be the only 4* reported in that zone, and I would argue it's at least as nice as the resort class properties in Kaanapali... Link to comment
sfmichaela
I would like to stay in one of the resorts because they are close together and have nicer pools. The villas are little to far north for me. Link to comment
chrispee
Ahh, makes sense. Good luck with the bidding! Link to comment
thereuare
Using MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find thru conventional booking channels for a Resort class hotel in this zone? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. sfmichaela
Using hotels.com the lowest rate is an obstructed view room at the Hyatt for $279 Link to comment
thereuare
Using that $279 rate as a benchmark how high are you willing to bid? Have you tried up to $210 yet as mentioned earlier?PRICELINE EXPRESS has a Resort hotel in this zone for $225/nite... using the link and code in my signature for 5% off brings this cost down to $213/nite, just a few dollars more than the $210 you were intending to bid (and have already tried?)Would this PRICELINE EXPRESS offer of interest? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. sfmichaela
I bid kaanapali for $197 and got my first rebid offer ever at $244. Looked at an older win that got that rebid offer and bid again at $215 and won. Tried a bid at $205 and got rejected so I then upped my bid to $215 and added kahuli resort and won the Westin Maui. Very excited, this is the hotel I was hoping for. Thanks everyone that posts on this board. With your posts I knew exactly what to do. Link to comment
