So I made spontaneous trip to DC and was only searching 2 days before purchase. I wanted to stay in DC downtown and wanted a 4* or higher.

-I started with the Georgetown and all the surrounding areas successively in the DC area.

-Had to add suburbs without 4*(VA) . I had about 6 areas selected and had raised my price from initial bid of 65 to 85 and finally got this hotel.

Judging by recent wins, this was about 10-20 higher than some other bids, but I figure for the quick planning not too bad.

I would recommend this hotel for seeing the Capitol or museums in the area.
