littlepigs99
His winning bid of $35 for a 4* contradicts the FAQ page which states the following:"Priceline has set minimums at each quality level by which they will not even consider your bid if it is below their self-imposed minimum. Those minimums are:1* $15; 2* $17; 2.5* $19; 3* $25; 3.5* $25; 4* $40; 5* $55; Resort $40 "So is this not an absolute rule? Link to comment
thereuare
littlepigs99,Please start by reading your messages.Anything is possible but for the time being i would assume that the minimum thresholds are still in place. Can't say how the OP bid, but at least two possibilities are:1) the OP has $5 worth of bonus money which was added to the bid, and the OP posted their actual dollar cost rather than the total including bonus money (NOTE: the board format is to include bonus money in the amount reflected in the topic title)2) the OP bid for 3.5* or 3* hotel and was upgraded to the 4* RioIf you'd like help with an upcoming stay please start a NEW TOPIC, and please click each of the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links before posting.Thanks.
