I'm looking 8/28-9/3 and I see a 3.5 star hotel with free internet, and then a lot of handicapped accessible amenities. It's $209/night and it says "We are still gathering reviews for this property". My best guess is the Marriott downtown (not the Marriott Marquis). Does anyone have a better idea?

I guess I didn't think all the accessibility amenities counted, since they're on almost all of the hotels now.

Accessible for the blind, Free Internet, Accessible path of travel, in-room accessibility, wheelchair accessible, accessible bathroom, roll-in shower, handicapped parking

This property has not yet been reported to the board, but i don't think this is the Marriott... my guess would be the Courtyard or the Twelve Centennial Park, but i'm really not certain.

Are you willing to pay $200+ for a 3.5* hotel 11 months ahead of your stay?

I'll wait til I can confirm what hotel it is, but yes I am willing to pay 200/night 11 months ahead of time. It's a huge event (like the East Coast Comiccon) in Atlanta and almost all of the best hotels are already booked. I need to watch these dates like a hawk because these hotels are highly sought after and $250 is more the standard price for this time of year.

If this is as big of an event as you imply there is a good chance that this hotel may not be available if you wait for it to be positively identified. This hotel does show a very good 4.5/5.0 TA rating so i'm sure it's of high quality, even if i'm not certain which one it is.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

Alternately, using MAPS and HOTELS.com i'm not seeing rates as high as you for these dates... if such a busy dates it would be highly recommended if you book something that is fully refundable while you wait.

LASTLY, i do have another guess for the hotel above: HOTEL ELLIS (which thru this link is bookable for $216/nite and fully refundable up until a few days before your arrival date)
