Just bid 4* for Aruba Marriott for my parent's anniversary and got it first try. This is the same hotel my husband and I stayed at in July 2011. We got $80/night but I went to $100 based upon recent wins.

I bid with Priceline and I didn't know the hotel prior to the bid. I just knew of the list of Aruba hotels that Priceline holds inventory at. Marriott is on the beach, but I'm not sure if all of the 4* are beachfront properties.

Please start a new thread with the details of your stay and we would be happy to offer suggestions. If you are looking for beachfront, I'd suggest HOTWIRE and looking for a listing with beachfront. If you're using PRICELINE, you have to be willing to stay anywhere within the zone chosen.
