First bid was rejected at $45 with an immediate offer to raise the bid to $57 and try again. Rather than do this I added 3 star to the 3.5 star already bid, and set the price to $50 and got it.

The rooms going direct to their site are $156 per room with taxes. This is quite obviously an excellent win and hopefully it will also be an excellent stay. This hotel is rated #1 on TripAdvisor!

Checked in and was only there thirty minutes when a fire was found in the spa on the second floor. We were on the sixth floor. I had to get my Dad of 87 dressed and down seven flights of stairs .. First floor was locked so went out the back basement!

What an experience! Two hours outside in the brutal cold. What fun!

Sorry to hear this wasn't an relaxing stay, but at least the fire didn't spread and everyone got out safely.
