Hi!

I normally bid for Chicago rooms, but this upcoming weekend (9/15-9/16) I have an event in Milwaukee. I'm not familiar with the area at all, and was looking for a 3-3.5 star room for somewhere around 40-55 dollars. Possible at all?

Also I need to find a room as close as possible to Veteran's Park (1010 n lincoln memorial). What area would I bid for for that and remain close by?

Please post the response for the Chicago thread in the prior thread.

Looking on the map of zones, Veterans Park does not fall within any particular zone, but appears just outside the downtown zone. Are you willing to stay anywhere within the downtown zone? Rates in downtown do look on the high side for these dates, and unfortunately $40-55 doesn't look realistic. My guess is that a 3-3.5* may cost more in the $70-80 range. You could certainly start lower ($50-55) and work higher by $5's in an attempt to see if a hotel will accept lower. If you don't mind staying further out, such as in Brookfield, staying under $55 (and possibly around $40-45) should be possible. Let us know your thoughts.
