sdf123456
Bid accepted at $65/night for Westin Nova Scotian, Halifax, NS.Started out bidding at $60 for the Dartmouth area for 2* hotels. That got rejected and was offered to bid once again. This time included the Halifax area as well for 2* hotels (I don't know whether I included 3* hotels this time) and bid at $65. Bid was successfully accepted and priceline said that my offer was upgraded to a 3* hotel.BTW, Expedia quotes CAN $190 and the Westin sites says CAN $209 for this hotel. My offer amounts to around CAN $80! Link to comment

thesqueegeekid
Sept 30 ... 2 roomsOct 1 ... 3 roomsI tried a few weeks ago and a couple days ago up to $45.I'm hoping the hotel releases rooms eventually otherwise, I'm bidding higher!!! Link to comment
thereuare
Rates are not high for your dates, but there are times when this property doesn't accept the low-end of their bids, even when direct rates are low. I would give it a bit longer before raising your bid and hope that additional inventory gets released, as it may currently take nearly twice as much. sdf123456
I stayed there for the night of 8 Aug (2 rooms). The next day I had to extend my travel plans. So went to priceline and again won the bid for $65 (again 2 rooms). I saw a post for 4 Aug and someone had won a bid for the hotel at $42 (extremely cheap!!). The hotel is excellent :)For Sept/Oct I guess you can bid at a lower price (because of the off season). Link to comment
