NeedaHotel
I'd like to stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington on 8/19 checking out 8/22. What would be the best strategy to get the hotel either by Hotwire or Priceline? Link to comment

NeedaHotel
Yes, as long as its close to restaurants, shopping etc. I've read some reviews on the Grand Hyatt and it sounds like a great place to stay. Some hotels in DC dont offer much in the area as far as restaurants, shopping or nightlife. Link to comment
thereuare
Your hotel can be anywhere in the shaded region... there is no stipulation that it will be "close to restaurants, shopping, etc".This is something you need to be willing to accept to use the opaque services. Is this something you're comfortable with? NeedaHotel
I might be willing to take the chance. I see in the Priceline Hotel list for Washington D.C. In the Convention Center-Capitol Hill area there are 2 hotels listed. Is there a good chance that these are the only 2 that I could possibly get? I know you dont know 100%.Thanks Link to comment
