megslegs
hello,i've being trying desperately to win a 4* or 3.5* hotel downtown minneapolis for july 18-21st for the past couple days. i'm very fluent with the repeat bidding, and have even bid higher than i care to spend (95$) to try to win a hotel. this has all been a futile attempt. any suggestions???thanks! AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? I'm guessing a 4* may take $115-135.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
megslegs
hmm...i saw some of the other people's winning bids on here and thought maybe i could win with under $100/night. wishful thinking? do more hotels or opportunities come avail closer to check in date? or the other way around?thanks! However, maybe July 18 is harder (I haven't tried). Link to comment
megslegs
for some reason the 18th made things much harder. i found 66$/night at the 4* hilton on hotwire that i purchasedfor the 19/20th and will try and find something cheap near the mall on priceline for the 18th. i don't mindswitching hotels and it got us a 4* for two of the nights :) Link to comment
megslegs
ps that 66$/night at 4* hilton in downtown minneapolis is still avail for anyone who's interested. just have to check the dates :) Link to comment
