Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Cleveland (Downtown) Crowne Plaza

Amenities listed are: restaurant, fitness center, business center, high-speed internet access. I booked last Friday 7/22 and now the price is listed as $69 for the same dates. It was my first experience with hotwire and didn't know enough about priceline to bid (do now thanks to this site). That plus I wanted a confirmed hotel right away. I see that a lot of folks have gotten the Crowne Plaza for @$40 but I was very happy with $52. Through the hotel the least expensive room for those dates was $129.

I selected one adult/one child. Does the number of people in the room (one or two) affect price?

Looks like you got a pretty good deal :)

Usually up to double occupancy does not affect price at all, but 3 or 4 in a room sometime/often does (but selecting 3 in a room is a good way to make sure that you get separate sleeping accomodations for two people).
