I had trouble getting a room for Saturday, but wanted to definitely have a room for Sunday.

I tried extend a night, they wanted $254+tax to extend my night there. So I closed out the site and reopen PRICELINE using the link in my signature.

So I started bidding

My first bid for $100 with MTW, MTE and TS. It failed

So I added Hells Kitchen to the combination above for $105 and won.

The hotels aren't that far from each other.. so I don't think it's that bad. Sadly, I wouldn't be able to sleep in but would have to check out and check into another hotel. Saved a bit of money by doing this way, and perhaps would inconvenient me for an hour or two.. not bad.

Definitely a very nice win for this NYC property and while splitting the stay isn't optimal, glad to hear it worked out okay in this case.
