exmil77
I was just curious if the Trump has been rezoned to the West area? I see a 5 star with the same set of amenities, but listed in the West strip area, instead of near North. Link to comment
Romelle
The most recent reported Trump win (posted May 30 for an Oct 2012 stay), had it in the North area with one of the amenities being "kitchenette". Are you seeing "kitchenette" in the amenities? The Hotwire map is definitive. You could mark the Trump address on a map and then zoom in on the Hotwire one and see if it falls within the shaded West area.Romelle Link to comment

I see a 5 star with the same set of amenities, but listed in the West strip area, instead of near North.I noticed this too. This might be Palms Place. I've never seen it pop up as a win on this site, but having stayed there, the amenities and location are spot on. Especially considering no casino and kitchenette. It's a very nice property, and affords access to the large Palms pool complex in addition to its own smaller pool area. Link to comment
Romelle
The Palms Place was last reported to this board as a 4.5* win. I suppose it could have gotten a star increase. Romelle Link to comment
hinsdale
Although the Hotwire maps only let you zoom so far, it appears that there is certainly a jog out in the boundry line that incorporates the Trump (at the corner of Industrial Road and Fashion Show Drive) into the Off Strip- West region.I am likely to book soon and will be able to confirm, but best I can tell it appears that the Trump is now in Off Strip - West. I dont know, i've been looking at it a bit too much. But could've sworn it was west, or something else. I thought it was going to be venetian/palazzo when I matched $XXX on other sites to Travelocity. Good thing I checked the amenities Link to comment
BaldyAlec
From what I can see, Trump was rezoned back into Strip North yesterday . . . I was hoping that Hotwire was going to move Trump and Westin to their proper geographic zones offstrip, but it appears it was only a 2 week tease for Trump.. . . truth in advertising is defeated once again. djdakine
ok so it wasn't my eyes playing tricks on me. totally sucks..because now TRUMP is the 5 star, instead of Venelazzo! Link to comment
pookabella
Thank goodness I found this message board! I have used PRICELINE before but I am new to HOTWIRE. I was totally worried I might end up at Trump because Hotwire is currently listing 5star deal with a kitchenette and it doesn't state if there's a casino. At first I thought I was safe (maybe they omitted the casino part) because technically, Trump is NOT ACTUALLY on the strip so if I choose "The Strip North" then I'm paying to be on the STRIP right? I should be on Las Vegas Blvd should I not? Not Fashion Show Blvd! I'm sure Trump is a beautiful hotel, but I want to be ON THE NORTH STRIP with a Casino, I don't mind which 5 star hotel. Maybe I am asking a lot but I don't want to be tricked. If I can't get a casino deal then I guess I will have to forgo hotwire & priceline :( Link to comment
