We have checked some of the packages on Hotwire/Priceline. Are these good deals? Is it cheaper to try for a seperate flight/hotel combination or is it better to go with the package. thereuare Posted July 18, 2005 Report Share Posted July 18, 2005 Usually buying the air and hotel separately are a bit less expensive than booking it as a package, plus you get the benefit of actually choosing your own flight times (which is a big benefit). You didn't say where you would be flying from, but use our Airfare Checker to get an overview of prices.It is believed that the UN is in session the second half of September and that has driven up hotel demand in NYC, as well as it being the beginning of fall at which time prices usually increase anyway.What are the actual dates of your stay?
