Elranzer
Airport: Orlando, FL (MCO)Website: PricelineDates: 6/1/12 - 6/4/12Rental Company: AdvantagePrice: $20/day (Priceline advertised rate, not bidding price)Details:For my dates, Priceline advertised Advantage as about $18+ per day, non-bidding rate. They were the only rental company that inexpensive that was in-terminal (any other rental company that was cheaper required a shuttle, and then only $1 - $2 cheaper). I could not for the life of me get a similar rate by bidding, trying to get Alamo, Hertz, etc. So I just booked the Priceline discountet-advertised rate. The total through Priceline was $117 after taxes/fees, and the same rate through Advantage's own site would have been $139. So Advantage's site must have a different taxes/fee rate structure. Also, Hotwire's advertised rates were more expensive, and Expedia did not have any cheaper rates.I should also note that this is an relatively busy time of year for Orlando tourism (the Orlando "Gay Days" is going on this week, as well as "Star Wars Weekends" at Disney's Hollywood Studios).
