HappybayBen
Re dates: Booked the first two nights 2-4 Sept; still looking at Hotwire & Priceline for the final 2 days in NYC - hoping to get something *really* good for my wife-to-be for 4-6 Sept before we head north.See my question about the Hilton v. 4* up to $200 in the Hotwire forum - trying to see what is possible for a 4* up to $200, or how low to get a good 3.5-4* as an alternative to extending at the W.I've tried without success on Priceline, so will look at improving the way I bid (and make bids higher than $120-130 which were rejected for a 5* & sometimes 4*)Thank you for such a responsive and useful forum, and I'll use the link.
