JSKoehler Posted June 26, 2005 Report Share Posted June 26, 2005 Needed a room for one night in either Norfolk DT or Portsmouth DT, both being 3* zones. free rebids for the Norfolk area at the 3* level are the two Chesapeake zones (Bowers Hill and Green Brier) and Norfolk Navel Base. I started at $40 in Norfolk DT and used various combinations of the acceptable and free zones until I received a $75 counter offer to Norfolk DT/Portsmouth DT/Bowers Hill at $58. I declined this, and started a new round trying first Portsmoth DT and Navel Base then Norfolk DT and Navel Base at $59. On the Norfolk bid I recevied a counter offer of $76. I then used a combined N/P/NB at $62 and N/NB/BH at $65, which was the winning bid.
