svede333
hi--i am going to bid for nov 4-6. if i bid a bit higher (100 vs 80)--will i be more likely to get a nicer hotel within the 4* range? does that make a difference? do higher bids lead to higher hotels within the 4* range? or does it not matter? thanks! AaronJB
Bidding higher in an attempt to increase the odds of/avoid a particular hotel or hotels is not recommended, as you could definitely wind up overbidding. What would be your desired budget per night, and which zones would you be interested in bidding for?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. svede333
Desired budget would be as low as possible, downtown, preferably 75-85 Link to comment
thereuare
You only mentioened "Downtown" so i'm assuming that you're not interested in the Granville Entertainment District. If this is correct...At the 4* level you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Downtown...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $73, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $78, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $83, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
