luckyarribas
Had been bidding on and off for a week up to $16/day ($12+$4 bonus) for a compact (about $95 with fees) but never got accepted. I already made a reservation with alamo using one of their last minute specials for $105 on a compact. I don't want to pay near a $100 on priceline even for a larger car as its nice to be able to cancel just in case. Its hard to believe the bonus bucks are real as that would make the priceline's real offer near what I could have rented direct with alamo for a standard using their site and available coupons (~$115) Link to comment
thereuare
Sorry your bidding didn't work out this time around but nice to see you had a good back-up reservation. The bonus bucks are indeed real, but while you should use the best post-coupon rate you're able to find to help determine your maximum bid, it can't really be used to conclude that the 'bidding' and 'retail' rates are the same. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Have a good trip. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
