Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo) Hodelpa Caribe Colonial

I tried to bid for 3.5 star hotels at $55, went to $50 for a 3* and got nothing.

Eventually downgraded to a 2.5 star, bid $50 and got nothing. Added a re-bid zone and bid $55 and still got nothing. Added a second re-bid zone and increased my bid by $1 and got the Hodelpa Caribe Colonial, right in the historic zone of Santo Domingo.

Total for the stay is $73 with taxes. Regular rate at the hotel is $65 plus taxes, totalling $80. In average, i just got a 10% discount.

I used this same strategy right after getting the hotel confirmation and got the same hotel in a separate bid for the same dates. Lucky me for getting another room in the same hotel. Phew!!

Can you please add this hotel to the list? It was reported in 2011 and is not showing in the hotel list for Santo Domingo. Thanks!
