jvander Posted July 11, 2003 Report Share Posted July 11, 2003 Being a fairly new destination for Priceline, I wasn't sure how to bid last August for March 2003. I knew March would be peak season. Most hotels started around $240 on up, so I just threw out a bid of $110.Bid was accepted on first try for the Aruba Grand. We loved it, although it is older and smaller. Our room had an awesome view, and the beach is absolutely the best. With taxes and fees, total was $911 for 7 nights.Sometime after this, I saw people getting the Aruba Grand for $65 and $75 per night. Now that's a bargain! I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
