Apparently hotels are expensive in August in Northern CA! Was ready to give up for the day, after adding the last rebid area that I was interested in. Had at least 3.5* stars selected, but got upgraded to 4*. Downtown San Jose was not my first choice, but I'll take it. Thanks for a very useful resource!
