All bids limited to the O'Hare/ ORD area. Ok started out with a 36.00 3 Star bid ... Rejected. Added 2.5 stars and raised bid to 39.00 ( didn't care would have taken either star levels).. Bid accepted at the 3 star Hyatt Rosemont. Right where I needed to be!

Just so you know, the Hyatt Rosemont is not the same as the Hyatt Regency O'Hare (which is connected to the Convention Center.) The Hyatt Rosemont is about a mile north of the convention center on River Road. I would say it's a little too far away to be walking distance (you might already know this, but I'd hate for you to show up at the wrong hotel)

Thanks for the info, but I already knew about the distance and 2 hotels thing. I just wanted a hotel within a couple miles distance. This is actually closer than I thought I would get. The hotel does shuttle to the sister hotel which is connected to the Convention Center.

That's good - I didn't even think about the shuttle - should work perfect for you (and personally I think the Hyatt Rosemont is nicer that the Hyatt Regency - it's smaller and newer!)

no luck yet, I tried it at $39 and 3* but it didnt take and I dont want to risk the getting a different hotel at the 2 1/2* so i'll give it a couple of days and try again.
