CA Orange County Marriott Anaheim Suites Disneyland-Garden Grove

One of the two Marriott properties near Disneyland (the other being the Anaheim Marriott). This hotel is on the corner of S. Harbor and Chapman. Just remember to check to make sure that you go to the right Marriott since they are both within .5 mile of each other!

The hotel is fairly new and all of the rooms are some type of a suite. I won our room through priceline for $54 a night, total steal for it being on Mother's Day weekend!

We had the king suite, the basic room that they had. The suite was 2 separate rooms, a living room and then a separate walled off bedroom with a king bed which was one of the best night sleeps we have ever had! The living room and bedroom are separated by a French door. Both the living room and the bedroom had LCD TV's with basic cable. The bathroom was nicely lined with marble tile and had a nice bath/shower. The living room also had a sofa in it which had a separate full size bed in there, which would be good if we had kids.

Aside from the room itself, the hotel has FREE parking which is something that you will not find with any other hotel near Disneyland. It is important to remember that this hotel is about a mile from Disneyland and I did not see a "free" shuttle but there is a resort bus which comes around for a fee that will take you to the park, much cheaper then paying Disney's $15 a car parking. The hotel also has a 5 foot deep outdoor swimming pool along with a jacuzzi. We went out to use both and we were the only people there. They also have outdoor fire pits for use! Lastly, there is a Starbucks inside the hotel, which is great if you like your coffee in the morning.

Overall this was a steal of a hotel for the price paid and I highly recommend it to ANYONE looking for a quality hotel on the cheap that is close to Disneyland!
