Priceline bid accepted @ $150 for a 2 night stay on 5-18-11 to 5-20-11 at the Hotel Sorrento

Bidding started at $69 and I bid for 4 days adding zones and raising my bid to 75 then 80 then 95 then 101 then 110 then 120 then 130 then 140 finally won at 150.

I would have stopped at 150 anyway and seen if Hotwire added a 4 star hotel for the same dates- until this point they have only had 3 1/2 * resorts listed and I have been checking in for about a month.

This is a pre-cruise stay so the dates were not negotiable and I really wanted a 4* hotel but would have dropped down if price went much beyond 150.
