CantDecideIT
Correction: Based on the room we were given, the current rate is $129. Unfortunately that room is showing a max of 3 guests (1 queen and 1 sofa bed). We have 2 adults and 2 children. PRICELINE doesn't seem to ask for this information prior to naming your own price. Hopefully we wont have any issues. Link to comment
AaronJB
Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Very nice deal for this RI property. PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy; while you can negotiate with the hotel, it may be unable or unwilling to grant the request. In this case, the RI properties generally offer a sofa bed in the room if they are not able to give you a room w/2 beds (or charge you more, which is also a possibility.)Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay. CantDecideIT
Thanks Aaron. I did contact PRICELINE and they faxed a request to the hotel on my behalf. The rep at PRICELINE said that while they couldn't guarantee anything, the hotels are usually willing to consider the request if they able to. I'll try to post a follow-up after our stay. CantDecideIT
Just wanted to provide a followup to this post. We had no issue staying here with our 2 children. The room was very nice and the kids were able to sleep on the pull out sofa no problem. Unfortunately the day we were there someone had broken glass in the pool and they were in the process of draining. Not much you can do about that. Thanks again thanks to BetterBidding.com for proving a great service for all of us bargain hunters! Link to comment
