Yup - but the hotel room and amenities looked quite amazing - if I had been staying as part of a weekend vacation stay I would have been okay with the price...

Even with last minute reservations you can get good deals, and yes...even if your desperate. there are many rebid zones you could have had etc. What really matters though is that you got a place that you liked in the star level and area for a price YOU are willing to pay for and not just what THE HOTEL companies demand you pay for. As long as u feel you got what you needed then don't worry about what us more frugal spenders think.

THis should help others that put in higher bids for whatever reason, to go ahead and post their wins too. We shouldn't just post the ones we thought were good deals as all the post are very helpful for one reason or another.

I thought this was a priceline bid but for hotwire its still a bit high. Hope YOU are happy with it though.
