dahammer Posted April 25, 2005 Report Share Posted April 25, 2005 The Holiday Inn is a good location for anyone wanting to commute into Philly as the Hotel is about 6 miles from the Walt Whitman Bridge into the city. At $34 per night (and I wonder what Priceline would accept during the week as your stay was during a weekend) this is a bargain.....this is equal to the rack rate during the mid 1970's when the Latin Casino (just next door) was hosting the likes of Sinatra, Mel Tillis, and BB King......This Holiday Inn has an outpost of a barbecue restaurant called Red, hot and Blue, which offers decent Southern Barbecue...
