dachicagoqueen
Well, I thought I was going to get Excalibur or Bill's, but got Hooters.... :) Hooters must be a new addition to Hotwire...Ammenities listed were: Casino, Pool, Restaurant, GolfI actually think it is bull*** that HOTWIRE can call Hooters a "south strip hotel" when it's not even on the Strip. Oh well. At least I'm not using my comp nights to the good places! Link to comment
dachicagoqueen
Oh and the Hotels.com window pops up with Hotwire now. That said I could have gotten the same hotel for $4 less per night without Hotwire fees. And could have gotten several mid-strip (actually on strip) for the same price or less. Oh well, live and learn. I'm still leaving Minnesota for Las Vegas with free airfare!!! Yay warmth!!! :) Link to comment
thereuare
Sorry you didn't get the hotel you were hoping for, but the Excalibur and Bills have never been seen with this amenity combination in the past, so not sure why you thought you would receive one of those (Bills doesn't even have a Pool on the premises which would have excluded this offering from being that property). We have accurately guessed this property before so it would be recommended to post and ask for help before your next opaque purchase. Also, note that the zone names are only general descriptions (on both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE), what ultimately counts are the zone boundaries, this property is within the shaded boundaries of the Strip South zone.Thank you for sharing your results with the board. Please read your messages and use the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your future travel purchases. dachicagoqueen
Hooters was not in the 3* list earlier today. I printed it and it's not there. That's why I didn't expect it.Also, what recourse do I have that they are now saying there is a $10 resort fee per day. They said it is collected by the hotel, but there was no mention of it beforehand. Link to comment
