thereuare
Neither of the properties above have been identified, but a guess for the Downtown property would be the Best Western or the Hampton Inn. However, what are you looking for from this stay, as neither of these zones are typically the first choice of the average user and i think there are similarly priced, and higher rated, hotels which are more centrally located. As well, many have been winning the 4* Algonquin for $145-$155 for rates which include yours above... i would suggest at least giving that a try first if it would work for your plans. It's not my favorite hotel in the city, but would certainly give you a more central location than either of the above as well as a higher rated hotel for less money.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. KL803
In the end we opted to stay on the Jersey side where we got the Sheraton Meadowlands through Hotwire for $ 76+. We booked 2 rooms 4/26 - 4/29 using the HOTWIRE link on this site. Link to comment
