halifax2011
Hi there,I am hoping you can help me with a strategy to secure a room at Fashion 26 (4* - Chelsea) from 4/13/11 - 4/16/11.I see that it is the only 4* in Chelsea so it seems possible (?)My bid range is $120-180. Do you have an idea as to what price rooms are typically going for at this hotel?Any advice you could offer would be great.I will definatley use the BB PRICELINE link to book. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE. While the Fashion 26 hotel may be the only 4* hotel reported to the board, there could certainly be others. (see the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List) Are you willing to accept any hotel in the zone or is this the only hotel you're willing to accept? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. halifax2011
Hi there,After much thought, I would be willing to take any 4* hotel in Chelsea, Empire State Building Area, MTW, Times Square, or CSP.Could you help with a bidding strategy? Thanks Link to comment
thereuare
Two quick questions before suggesting a strategy...I'm assuming CSP is supposed to be Central Park South? Please confirm. Is there a reason you're not including the MTE zone in your bidding? I think this is likely the zone where you have the best chance for success and/or lower price. You may succeed in one of the zones above up to $180, but if MTE is acceptable, i think you could likely get a little bit of a lower price than you might otherwise win in one of the other zones.Let us know and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. halifax2011
Hi Again,Yes, CPS (Central Park South) is what I meant. Yes, I would be happy to include MTE if it means getting a better deal. Thanks so much! Link to comment
