sharonthefar
Rates were very reasonable so I was surprised to win the second most expensive hotel, the Hilton at the Airport. Two rooms, 1 night. Started bidding at $35, rebid $39 and then $40 adding free rebids bothell and lake union. Won with the $40 bid. Had received message at $35 to add $9 without making a change. I had bid up to $39 last week. Hilton lists for $116/night/room. Very happy. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win. There is definately correlation between a hotel's room rate and their accepted bid, but i have found little correlation between priceline wins going to the lowest conventional rates in the zone... some hotels are willing to discount more than others and this has nothing to do with their 'traditional' rates. When the higher rated hotels accept... it's just that much better of a deal :) Enjoy your stay.
