danielsmom
Bid $100, then $125 for a 4 star hotel in the beach area of Ft. Lauderdale on PRICELINE with no luck. Raised the bid to $150 and, as I expected, got Il Lugano! This was only $20 a night lower than I could have gotten with the AAA rate- but not too bad. Dates of the trip are 2/28/2011-3/3/2011.I should have started at $135, but I kept getting the "your bid is so low it has no chance of being accepted" note flashing on my screen! This is a very nice site! I am sure I will use it frequently! Link to comment

danielsmom
It was less than I was planning to pay for a 3 star hotel that didn't have a beach shuttle and wasn't a suite hotel!! I have already been in contact with them, and all their rooms sleep 4- so it is a very good option for people like me who are traveling with a child. Link to comment
