Priceline Hotel: 4* Lake Tahoe (South NV) Harveys

Bidding for 2 rooms started at around $50 mark a few days ago. Using rebids in $3 increments I got to $62 when I was offered the room for an extra $20. I had one rebid zone left, so bid $67 and was declined.

Bidding today started at $60. Again received an offer at $62, declined and used a rebid at $69 and was successful.

Actually not that huge a saving, can get cheaper rooms for the weekday nights direct from the hotel website (they currently have a promo), but overall it works out slightly cheaper.

I have little doubt if I split my bid I could have done better, but didn't really want to risk having to change hotels given the weekend is in the middle of our 7-day stay. If the weekend was on either end, I would have split it for sure.
