rspiva
Could use some help identifying the following hotels for May 12-17 on Hotwire:Pike Place, 3.5*, Restaurant, Comp breakfast, Pool, Fit, Internet, Business Center, Laundry, $93Space Needle, 3*, boutique, Restauraunt, spa, $68. this seems like a good deal for the time period but based on other postings I'm wary of Hotwire's 3* rating and the Space Needle area does not appear to have anything but "average" chain hotels. I'd be interested in other opinions.By the way, thanks for the great site. I don't think I'd have wanted to try this process without your help. Link to comment
WillTravel
The 3* might be the Marqueen. That's actually in the Queen Anne area, but it's covered by the Space Needle zone. Link to comment
thereuare
The 3.5* has not been identified but my best guess would be the Silver Cloud Hotel on Broadway. The 3* is thought to be the Marqueen.Let us know what you decide to do or if we can be of further help. rspiva
Started at $80, added zones for 85, 90, 93, 95, then won at $100. Helps that only one zone in Seattle currently has 4*'s. Also to be noted: Although the zone covers up to space needle neighborhood and beyond, as of today there weren't any 4* hotels in that area so you're far more likely to end up near Pike Place. Feel ok as advertised price for that period was $179, and lowest Hotwire 4* price (Westin, we think) was $111. Any other experiences with the Sheraton? Link to comment
thereuare
I have no first hand experience with the Sheraton, but everything i have read about it has been very good (same with the Westin, although there i have firsthand experience). However, in keeping with this board's "value oriented nature" i always highly recommend the early bird half price bar menu in the lounge at Brasa, details of times and a lounge menu can be found at their website.Enjoy your stay.
