Floyd
I am traveling with my Mom and Sister to San Juan to take a Christmas cruise. My Mom is VERY picky, and will not stay in a bad place. My concern is that the forums here sometimes call "Resort El San Juan" a "Resort", and they sometimes call it "4*". The same thing happens for the San Juan Inter-Continental. From reading the Tripadvisor reviews of El San Juan, it is now old and definitely no longer a resort! If I knew that it would not be a possibility, I would bid on the 4* and hope for the Inter-Continental or the La Concha. Can someone please tell me if these hotels have been shifting in rating, and what the current ratings would be?Or, does anyone have any other bidding tips for San Juan to ensure I don't mess up the Christmas plans? Thanks!! thereuare
The differences you're seeing are likely due to PRICELINE vs. HOTWIRE... PRICELINE uses Resort as a 'star rating whereas HOTWIRE only uses numerical star ratings and uses the Resort designation as an amenity icon. Are you looking at PRICELINE or HOTWIRE for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
