CIAgentx
I'm trying to get 2 rooms for 2 nights (4/15 - 4/17) in an Orlando resort but so far have failed. Here are my bids...$55 - Walt Disney World Vicinity = REJECTED$58 - Florida Mall = REJECTED$61 - Kissimmee = REJECTED$65 - Maitland = REJECTED$78 - Orlando Airport = REJECTED$85 - Downtown Orlando = REJECTED$103 - Orlando (Winterpark) = REJECTED$110 - West Disney Area = REJECTEDThose numbers seem very high to me. I am going to wait and try again in a couple days. Any suggestions? Link to comment

CIAgentx
Yes, I was looking for something at the resort level. Link to comment
cityfishing
Try again in a few days. I had problems getting a room for the same dates. See my Wyndham thread posted today. Or you can try HOTWIRE and get the Crowne Plaza for 97. Link to comment
thereuare
Based upon cityfishing's PRICELINE WIN you should likely be able to get the Wyndham Palace now for $85/nite or if you don't like that property you can try HOTWIRELet us know what you decide and if we can be of more help. CIAgentx
I did also check for rooms on Hotwire, but I felt they were somewhat expensive as well. I checked to see if anything was going on in Orlando, during my planned weekend but found very little. With the exception of the International Flower Show and Davy Jones performing in Epcot, I can't see any reason (other than a mix between the time of year and maybe some bad luck) why rates are so unusually high. I'll post my results on Wednesday, when I rebid. Link to comment
CIAgentx
72 hours later...$70 - Disney World Vicinity = REJECTED$74 - Florida Mall = REJECTED$80 - Kissimmee = REJECTED$85 - Maitland = ACCEPTEDI won't repeat my first thoughts, when I saw "WYNDHAM PALACE." I was dissapointed to say the least. The price isn't so bad, compared to the reviews I've read... and I quote "its a hotel on the outside, but a motel on the inside." My only problem now is hoping that I can fit 8 adults, comfortably, in 2 rooms. I'll post my review of the hotel, upon my return. Link to comment
thereuare
Thanks for the follow-up and to hear you have an inexpensive roof over you head :) Looking forward to hearing the review.
