Priceline Hotel: Need Help in bidding strategy for Key West & Key Largo

I would like to make sure I bid correctly to get the following hotels.

Key West: 4* Hyatt

Key Largo: 3* Hampton Inn

Please suggest bidding strategy.

The Hyatt in Key West is "Resort" rated by PRICELINE and the Hampton Inn in Key Largo is 2* rated by PRICELINE, so that is the star rating you would want to use if you're trying to target either. HOWEVER, note that you're not, nor can you, bid on these specific hotels... if you bid Resort you could receive any resort rated property in the zone you select, and if you bid 2* you would receive any 2* or higher rated property.

Let us know if you're ok with any hotel at the star rating you select and would like to move forward with bidding. If so, also let s know if you need any help with a bidding strategy.

My bad.....I didn't look at the hotel list carefully.

For Key Largo, 3* are

3* Hilton Key Largo Grande Hotel and Beach Club Sheraton Beach Resort REVIEW (3* bidding not currently offered in this zone)

3* Holiday Inn

For Key West

Resort Casa Marina Waldorf Astoria Wyndham Casa Marina

Resort Hyatt

So, for key largo, I would like to get 3* hotel, can there be others besides those two listed? I mean what other hotels are in the same zone?

For Key West. I would shoot for the Hyatt Resort.

This list is NOT a complete list of all hotels that Priceline offers in this area, it is ONLY a compilation of hotels that have already been reported on this forum. Hotels are added/removed by Priceline all the time, and star ratings can change at ANY time...

For Key West. I would shoot for the Hyatt Resort.

You can't target a specific property when using PRICELINE, you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you select. Are you willing to accept any Resort rated hotel in this zone?

Do you have two separate stays, once in Key West and one in Key Largo... or is this an either/or for one stay?

I see.....it's a separate stay. For now, I would just use PRICELINE bidding for resort in Key West, please help me on this.

At the Resort level you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select Resort Key West...

Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $95

If the above is rejected wait 24 hours and re-try:

Select Resort Key West...

Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $110

Just want to confirm this is correct:

Select Key West and select resort, bid at $85

If it fails,

Select Islaramoda and select resort bid at $90

If it fails,

Select Marathon and select resort bid at $95

If it fails, wait 24 hrs and start all over again at higher bid
