Priceline Hotel: 4* Seattle (Downtown-Pike Place) Westin

Tried last night starting at $75 and up to $100 with no luck. Tried today at $91 and finally accepted at $96. Reviews don't look great for the efficiency and friendliness of staff of this hotel so we'll see. Everyone agrees that it is a great location.

PS. I always take the TA reviews with a grain of salt. And keep in mind with TA reviews that many of those people paid full price, which is often significantly more, and may have different expectations at those price points. And for some reason is the TA people eager to complain over ridiculous things.

Chase - I'm from the Seattle area and I can assure you that you'll be very pleased with the Westin. It's a nice hotel, and at that rate, at this time of year, you did very well. We have a lot of cruise ships that leave out of Seattle during the summer and early fall months, so hotels tend to be at a premium. To get a quality hotel like the Westin at that rate is a terrific win. Enjoy your visit.
