Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Prince George Ramada Downtown

Hello All,

Staying in Prince George, BC, Sept 4 - 6 to settle our daughter into University for the year. = (

Via your PRICELINE link, found the highest rated option for bidding was 2.5*, bid $51, was rejected but was offered an immediate rebid of $61. Really didn't want to play around and wait for 24 hours to rebid lower, so I took the offer and got the Ramada.

Total cost for two nights, $148 U.S. The Ramada site was offering this for $200 U.S.

This hotel was what one would expect for a 2.5* Nothing too thrilling, but nothing too horrific either. I would have to say though it's probably not in the most respectable part of town. They're taking down the buildings across the street from the hotel to make a parking lot for the Ramada, thus the current buildings that house businesses are closed and boarded up. Seems like there are a number of homeless people within this area, so you can expect to be approached by the odd person wanting a cigarette or a couple bucks. "Roger" the gentleman who politely introduced himself to us, got a couple bucks from us, and he was on his way...polite enough guy, and didn't seem like he'd hurt a flee. Anyway, just some food for thought on this particular hotel.
