For double billing with any purchases I always contact my bank and never the retailer. The first time I was double billed by someone I called them and they told me to call my bank.

Sometimes, your bank requires that you take some step with the retailer to resolve the dispute. However, this hoop is usually nominal. A simple call to your credit card company will resolve this, but remember, you have a short period of time to dispute charges on your card (usually one billing cycle.)
